Can I choose the colour of the net?
The nets available are:
– fir green reinforced with a steel wire, for frames with a fixed net or a sliding net,
– the transparent net is too fragile: we do not offer this net on our frames.
Is the no-drill frame suitable for all types of doors/French windows ?
The no-drill ProtectionChat frame is suitable for French windows “ between parallel walls ”: in other words, it is held under pressure between the left and right walls, at a point where the cat cannot get over or under the frame. Around 4–5 cm of depth is needed to hold the frame supports in place.
If the French window opening is “ V ”-shaped (narrower at the back than at the front), small wedges must first be fitted so that the frame can be properly held under pressure.
The dimensions of the French window may limit the use of the frames.
Can the ProtectionChat frame be recycled/resized ?
ProtectionChat cares about the environment. That is why, for example, if you move house, we can adapt your frames to a smaller size for a reduced fee.
How do I measure my doors or French windows to get a quote?
Our quotes include the supply and installation of a frame for the opening to be secured.
So that we can send you a quote as quickly as possible, we need a few details: please send us photos of the outer perimeter of the French windows (mainly the two side walls) along with the following dimensions (click on the image to enlarge it):
