Article I – Validity of the quote

Our quotes are valid for 2 months from the date of issue.

Article II – Terms of payment

In order to keep our prices as fair as possible, we offer the following payment methods:

  • Payment in advance: e-banking. NB: the full amount must reach us no later than 72 hours before the work begins.
  • Cash payment: in cash, as soon as the nets have been installed.
  • Payment by bank card: (in advance) subject to bank and processing fees of 4.5%.

Invoice

The receipted invoice is handed over on the spot or sent by e-mail.

Please confirm that you have received the quote.

To place an order

Preferably, please click on the link included in the quote to confirm your choices or, alternatively, reply to the quote e-mail specifying:

  1. The package(s) chosen (e.g. balcony, window, etc.).
  2. Any option(s) chosen (e.g. stainless steel cable).
  3. The chosen payment method: in advance or in cash.
  4. Your preferences for the installation date (we will do our best to meet your expectations).

Article III – Preparation of the work area

In order to protect the health of our staff, the balcony must be free of bird droppings.

To enable us to work efficiently and to limit the risk of damage, we ask our customers to clear the access and the work area, i.e. a minimum distance of 1 metre from the elements to which we will attach the net.

Article IV – With or without drilling holes

Unless otherwise stated on the quote (e.g. "balcony without drilling"), our installations involve small holes, most of which have a diameter of Ø 5 mm. They are very easy to fill.

Article V – Cancellation or interruption of work

In the event of cancellation or interruption of the work less than 72 hours before the scheduled date or while the work is in progress, MSGE Sàrl will invoice the costs incurred (materials, production of frames or specific products, time spent at the hourly rate), travel costs and the VAT applied to these amounts.

Article VI – Defects

No one is immune from defects. Our teams do everything possible to avoid causing damage during installation. If you notice a defect or a problem, please report it to us in writing with photos (before / after) within 48 hours of acceptance of the installation. Unfortunately, after this period we will no longer be able to consider any claims.

Article VII – Limits of warranty, partial installations and liability

1. Complete installations (100% enclosure)

Only installations that fully (100%) enclose the space to be secured are covered by a warranty against animals escaping or falling.

2. Partial installations (incomplete enclosure)

Certain technical or architectural configurations do not allow the space to be fully enclosed. This applies in particular, but is not limited, to:

  • The impossibility of drilling into the ceiling or the top of the structures;
  • The impossibility of anchoring fixings in external wall insulation (insulated façade);
  • Terraces or very large areas where an upper covering (roof net) is technically or materially unfeasible.

In these situations, a partial installation may be offered as the only possible alternative.

3. Warning and exclusion of liability

The customer is expressly informed that a partial installation:

  • Constitutes a device that deters and delays the risk of escape or falling, but in no way guarantees zero risk (0%);
  • Is covered by no warranty against animals escaping or falling.

By accepting a partial installation, the customer acknowledges having been fully informed of these technical limitations and waives any recourse against ProtectionChat.ch in the event of an accident, fall or escape of the animal.

Article VIII – Image rights

The customer expressly authorises ProtectionChat to take photographs and videos of the installations carried out at their home and to use them for the purposes of communication, promotion or illustration of its services (in particular on its website, in its brochures or on its social networks).

If the customer does not wish photographs to be taken or used, it is their responsibility to inform ProtectionChat in writing before the work is carried out.
